The pre-school has run a number of fundraising activities over the past year, raising over £1400. These include £943 from a fun run and tombola £161 from a coffee and gateaux morning, £233 in commission from portrait photos, £360 at the summer BBQ and £796 at the Autumn fayre. In addition, the pre-school has recieved over £600 from the following schemes:

Easyfundraising raises money for the pre-school when you shop online.

Use easyfundraising to access over 600 of the UK's best-known retailers including many popular names such as NEXT, Amazon, Debenhams, John Lewis and HMV. Once you are registered, up to 15% from every purchase you make is donated to the pre-school and It doesn't cost you a penny extra. Simply log-in to easyfundraising; follow a link to your chosen retailer and the pre-school will get free money.

The pre-school ebay shop - selling items donated by parents.
The pre-school runs an ebay account selling good quality items on behalf of the pre-school. If you would like to donate any items to sell, please put them in a clearly labelled bag and hand in to pre-school staff. The item will then be photographed and put on ebay. Parents will need to store them item until sold as the pre-school has nowhere to keep it.

GIFT AID your donation. The pre-school will get an extra 28% of the proceeds at no cost to yourself.    Fill in the top part of the donation form (everything above the "Result of sale" section). The pre-school will contact you after the sale when you will have the option to donate the proceeds - with 28% tax relief provided by the government !

Yellowmoon provide hundreds of products to keep children entertained and help them develop. For every purchase you make, the pre-school receives up to 25% cash back.

School Link is a childrens book club - without needing to join any club. You can save up to 85% on every book you buy, either online or via the pre-school, with no further obligation to buy. The pre-school will recieve a £1 voucher for every £10 spent which can be used to buy books.

The scheme offers free educational books from Dorling Kindersley in exchange for tokens found on Nestlé cereal box tops and cereal bar packs. More than 207,000 books have been given away in the last three years.

At its heart, Sainsbury's Active Kids is all about giving young people live experiences, activities and equipment they might not normally have access to. Vouchers can be obtained from Sainsbury's stores until 4th June 2008 and exchanged by the pre-school for equipment.

2007: 1946 vouchers providing 18 footballs and 144 table tennis balls used at the Autumn fayre.
2008: 2820 vouchers so far
The Computers for Schools scheme enables UK schools to redeem vouchers from Tesco purchases for computers and other school equipment.
Recycling old ink cartridges and mobile phones   Every working phone is worth 30 vouchers, and 5 for a non-working phone. (details).
Every empty inkjet cartridge that can be recycled is worth 10 vouchers. Applies to selected Dell, HP, Lexmark and Canon ink and toner cartridges (details).
